Origins Fam 70A Info from Charles Edwards in Indiana, via Lorraine :
Charles Edwards grandfather was the David who sailed to America in 1875. Despite some confusions, Davids parents apparently were James & Sarah, and David was born 1847 at Spalding, Lincolnshire.
Legend has it that they earlier had sons David and Jonathan in UK who both died young and their next sons (above) were also named David and Jonathan. David immigrated to America arriving at New York on 1875 Apr 21 on Bothnia with his son David aged 4 and settled Muncie Indiana.

DAVID (707) ran a Grocery store on the corner of Fifth and Vine
in Muncie. Married (when/where?) toElizabeth Catherine Grey
His eldest son, ELMER (7096)hit his head in an accident in the
shop and was crippled, dying later from his injuries ……interesting
that Lucile´s comments in FAM 70A mention a crippled child !!
A middle son was CHARLES (7098)
The youngest son was GEORGE (7097) A V P of Ford Motor Co,
Detroit, a pilot with his own aircraft. Believe married, one
child who died infant

1903 Frances Emaline. Married Edgar Graff, 2 daughters. After Edgar
died she m(2) to Forest Wiggerly.

1918 Agnes Still living August 2001. She was married (1) to
Hilliard Merryweather, (2) to Richard Johnson, (3) to Jack
Ordelheide. 3 sons by her first marriage.
